Daman Wood has joined hosted VoIP and unified cloud communications provider Telesphere as vice president of operations, bringing with him a 17-year background in operations and revenue generation within the technology sector. In this new position, Wood has accountability for leading the day-to-day customer operations at Telesphere, including service delivery, field operations and customer support.
Prior to Telesphere, Wood held executive positions at UNSi, Airband, TeleSpectra and Sparkplug. Preceding that, he served in management positions at XO/Nextlink Communications and Syntellect.

Telesphere’s unique UC offerings, cloud applications and dedication to ‘wow the customer,’ makes this an ideal fit for me with my previous experience,” Wood said. “I plan to help guide the operations functions through the explosive growth we are experiencing, always ensuring the customer’s experience is second to none.”

Wood holds an M.B.A. from Arizona State University’s WP Carey School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and served as an officer in the U.S. Army and Arizona National Guard. Wood grew up in Paradise Valley, Ariz., attending Chaparral High in Scottsdale, and was one of only a handful of Arizona candidates nominated for appointment to West Point by former Arizona Sen. Jon Kyle. Wood resides in Phoenix.
