Global Capacity has expanded the footprint for its One Marketplace platform for provisioning connectivity services, with a new point of presence (PoP) located at 910 15th Street in Denver, Colo.
One Marketplace for network buyers and sellers provides wholesale and enterprise access to large national networks, and regional and local or metro networks, without a requirement to design, contract and manage interconnections with each of them. Also, Global Capacity offers One Marketplace Ethernet with speeds scaling from 1.5Mbps to 10Gbps. Users can design, price and fulfill multi-network, multi-geography requirements under a single SLA, contract and point of contact.
“Customer demand for more competitively priced connectivity and lower latency across the West has fueled Global Capacity’s Denver expansion,” said Ben Edmond, chief revenue officer for Global Capacity. “Global Capacity will continue to expand the One Marketplace footprint in ways that complement our existing customers and suppliers, while maintaining the highest level of interconnectedness for near-ubiquitous reach.”
One Marketplace’s new interconnect point in Denver provides more coverage of the Western, Southwest and Central U.S., offering connectivity to 10 surrounding states as well as opening up connectivity to local telecom operators and rural markets. This includes more than 53 regional and national carrier networks, along with core national fiber networks and the region’s largest internet peering exchang.
