As channel-friendly service provider GLOBALINX gears up to launch a mobile service as an MVNO on the Sprint-Nextel network, it has announced that it has chosen Simplexity MVNO Services to power its offering.
GLOBALINX plans to launch a branded, national wireless voice, messaging and data service on the Sprint network. Simplexity’s technology and support solutions, including order acquisition, billing, lifecycle management, customer care, inventory solutions and logistics, will underpin the MVNO.
“For the past eight years, Simplexity has partnered with GLOBALINX’s parent company 5LINX, a leading provider of telecom services for residential and business customers, by providing a turnkey solution to offer carrier branded wireless products and services to their customers,” said Terry Hsu, president of Simplexity MVNO Services. “GLOBALINX is furthering their commitment to advanced wireless services by launching a customized, private branded MVNO and has selected Simplexity MVNO Services to provide turnkey MVNE support.”
By leveraging Simplexity’s proprietary MVNO enablement platform, GLOBALINX will offer its own unique rate plans and provide smartphone-minded bundles, including integrated packages of data, messaging, and voice. GLOBALINX will offer affordable devices that include popular smartphones, messaging phones and basic feature models, it said.
“For many years, 5LINX has trusted Simplexity to provide wireless solutions for our customers,” said Craig Jerabeck, CEO and president at 5LINX/GLOBALINX. “When we decided to start our own MVNO, it was an easy decision to select Simplexity MVNO Services for their end to end MVNE capabilities. Their experience has simplified the implementation process and greatly reduced our time to market. We look forward to continuing our long term partnership with Simplexity to bring unique wireless offerings to our customers.”
