Grandstream Launches $99 IP Phone

Grandstream Networks has announced the GXP2130, a three-line enterprise IP phone with a full-color LCD display and Gigabit network ports, which will go for $99 via partners.

The GXP2130 adds a third color-screen model to Grandstream’s GXP series of HD IP phones. Like the recently released GXP2140 and GXP2160, the GXP2130has a range of telephony features along with a color display and flexible user customization.

The GXP2130 features three lines, three SIP accounts, a 2.8” 320×240 TFT color LCD, HD audio on both the speaker and handset, dual Gigabit network ports with integrated power over Ethernet (PoE), four-way voice conferencing, eight fast-dial/BLF keys, and support for Electronic Hook-Switch with Plantronics headsets, which allows users to use headsets to handle calls. With advanced security and privacy protection based on 256-bit AES encryption, auto-provisioning capability for large deployment, and built-in support for 19 native languages, the GXP2130 is also compatible with all major SIP-based IP PBX/softswitch/IMS platforms in the market such as Broadsoft, Metaswitch, Asterisk and Elastix.

“Grandstream continually evolves its products with dramatically uplifted value proposition and user experience at consistently lower cost,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream Networks. “The new GXP series IP Phones with color display and Gigabit speed, including the GXP2130, marks another major step forward in our pursuit of excellence and market leadership through continued product innovations and differentiated value enhancement.”
