IBM has announced several updates for its PartnerWorld program.
At the PartnerWorld conference in San Francisco, the company unveiled new tools, resources and incentives for certain products. Included will be a new portal for improved onboarding and sales enablement; an AI-enabled tool for customer engagement; a managed security program; and a solution for easier deal registration.
Partners can also expect to see enterprise-grade container software packages with support for hybrid and multicloud systems, and a new training program for selling cloud-based services. New rewards will also be created for partners selling Power Systems, Z and LinuxONE, while SPIFFs will be extended to sales reps selling cloud subscriptions.
IBM is looking to build off of the momentum its partner program gathered in 2018. Last year, partners created over 84,000 opportunities and generated more than $14 billion in revenue.
