Infomart Data Centers has appointed Sandy Thielamay as vice president of technology.
Thielamay is responsible for new product development and providing technology leadership for the organization’s data center operations teams. He’s also leading the design, build and commercial go-to-market strategy of Infomart’s channel partner initiative.
“Sandy is a relentless innovator and recognized thought leader in both IT services and managed services,” said John Sheputis, president of Infomart Data Centers. “With over 20 years of expertise in designing and delivering innovative IT solutions, Sandy is the right choice to further grow Infomart’s product offerings for colocation and cloud providers. Sandy has also been asked to lead the company’s channel partner program, which will provide customers with more ways to leverage the Infomart ecosystem.”
Thielamay’s technical, business development and management experience has spanned Africa, Europe and North America. Prior to joining Infomart, he served as the director, Central Region, for IPSoft. Previously, he was a general manager at State Informatics Limited. He was also a partner and vice president of sales at KlioSoft and the vice president of engineering and CTO of Totality, where he directed all network architecture and implementation for clients.
“As enterprise IT workloads transition to hybrid cloud infrastructure, there has never been a more exciting time to be an integral part of customers’ data center solutions,” said Thielamay. “I am excited to join the Infomart team and help deliver highly efficient and technologically advanced systems, products and programs rooted in automation, control and transparency.”
