Looking to enhance its storage portfolio, value-added distributor Ingram Micro has inked a deal with HP to add the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage and HP StoreOnce Backup systems to its U.S. portfolio for channel partners and VARs. The all-in-one solutions support virtualized, IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS) and cloud environments, targeted to meet the needs of small and midsize businesses (SMBs) as well as large enterprise organizations and service providers.
“To help midrange to high-end enterprises deal with new application demands, resellers must move away from fragmented legacy designs towards simplified and modern storage architectures,” said Terry Richardson, vice president of channel sales for the U.S. enterprise group at HP.

He added that the HP Converged Storage products include a range of support, including dedicated HP field technical consultants, channel account managers, and dedicated sales, technical support and marketing professionals.
