CompTIA has named five new members to its Partner Advisory Council.
The council provides CompTIA with strategic, near-term insight on issues and trends affecting the IT channel. It serves as a strategic think-tank, presenting ideas and initiatives to the association’s staff with the intent of improving and growing business for the industry as a whole.
Joining the CompTIA Partner Advisory Council are:
- Bill Barry, senior vice president, Infrastructure Solutions Group, CompuCom Systems
- Mariano Dy-Liacco, vice president, services, Insight Enterprises
- Kevin Garrett, vice president, field services and operations, Pomeroy
- Stephanie Martin, chief executive officer, Exigo Group
- Rich Schofield, director, business development, Dimension Data
Continuing in their roles as co-chairs of the CompTIA Partner Advisory Council are Paul Cronin, senior vice president at Atrion Networking, and Bruce Enright, CEO at Tallgrass Technologies.
Lester Keizer, CEO of Business Continuity Technologies, is vice chair of the council.
“Our Partner Advisory Council is made up of a diverse group of executives, each with his or her own expertise, knowledge and perspective on the challenges and issues facing the IT channel,” said Annette Taber, vice president of channel strategies at CompTIA. “This level of diversity assures that the recommendations and solutions the council proposes will be relevant for all channel companies – vendors, distributors and solution providers alike.”
