Internap Expands Partner Focus

Internap Network Services has retooled its partner program to align with its data center infrastructure offering for cloud, hosting, colocation and hybrid services. The company is looking for a broader range of agents, including cloud and data center migration companies, value-added resellers, managed service providers and Web development agencies, as well as its traditional telecom-centric agent base.

In response to growing demand for outsourced IT infrastructure services, Internap has continued to evolve its offering from colocation and custom services, such as managed hosting and private cloud, to on-demand cloud and bare metal-hosting – powered by route-optimized IP connectivity and a global content delivery network.

As part of the enhanced partner program, Internap has formed a dedicated, global channel sales team to engage directly with its agent community and handle onboarding and training. Additionally, Internap has launched a new partner portal to simplify and expedite agent lead submission and management. Finally, Internap has updated agent contracts to allow partners to select the program and compensation levels that are most appropriate for their business model.

Internap’s agent partner network includes Avant Communications, Business Communications Management (BCM), Bridgepointe Technologies, COLOPeople, Colotraq, Converged Network Services Group (CNSG), Global Communications Networks (GCN), Presidio, Servergy, Simplify and StrataCore, among others.
