Lam Cloud, a New Jersey-based provider of business continuity and disaster recovery, is expanding the resources available at the Lam Cloud Technology Campus, located at 1 Farr View Drive, Cranbury, N.J. It has launched a co-working space dubbed the Domain, and has launched a monthly workshop series.
The Domain provides guests with a connected space to collaborate, create and interact with business partners, potential investors, customers, students, colleagues, job seekers and others.
Lam Cloud envisions the Domain as a neutral and accessible environment thatcan be used as a creative workspace; for meetups, conferences and trade shows; corporate events; virtual and permanent offices; day office space; collaborative meetings; and technology workshops. It’s located just off the New Jersey Turnpike and is accessible via public transportation, and is available as a first-come, first-serve as well as reservation basis.
“The Domain converges infrastructure, connectivity, resources and opportunity in one state-of-the-art, customizable workspace,” said Lawrence Lam, founder and president of Lam Cloud. “The interactive co-working space is designed and purpose-built to facilitate innovation, ideas and new relationships in order to drive the success of growth-stage as well as established businesses.”
Meanwhile, the series of mini workshops will help educate and assist those in the local community looking for technology solutions and growth, Lam said. Orion Systems Integrators will kick off the first workshop, ‘IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS)’, on Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m. This workshop will introduce attendees to a variety of partner solutions between Lam Cloud and Orion Systems for migrating to the cloud, integrating with existing software systems, deploying or customizing existing software systems and supporting them round-the-clock.
