TPx has promoted John Lepore to director of channel sales for the New York Tri-State area. Moore was channel manager at DSCI when TPx acquired the company in 2016.
A telecommunications industry executive with 20 years of experience, Lepore has held channel management positions at WinStar, Fusion Connect, Yipes Enterprise Services and eZuce. In his new role, Lepore, who has been with TPx fo three years, will lead a team of six channel managers in the Tri-State area as well as Pennsylvania, filling the role of Carl Moore, who was recently promoted to director of national channel development. Lepore now reports directly to James Maloney, senior vice president of sales at TPx.
“John brings a wealth of knowledge about the Tri-State Area marketplace and a proven track record of supporting and empowering channel partners so they can bring customers the solutions they need and grow their own businesses,” said Maloney.
TPx is in the process of building a national channel sales organization, hiring numerous channel managers and other personnel to support the channel in the field and assist agent partners with selling unified communications solutions, managed services and managed security services. Concurrently, TPx realigned its service provisioning organization to create an exclusive team dedicated to processing service orders, installations and escalations for TPx’s agent partners and their clients nationwide, said the company
