Level 3 has completed work on its 49 mile network expansion in Northern New Jersey, a high-tech center for innovation in the region. The expansion provides customers with secure access to Level 3’s network capabilities and portfolio of data, security, video, voice and unified communications solutions.
“As a company, we understand how important it is for enterprises to have safe, secure and reliable network connections that deliver faster solutions to move their businesses forward,” said John Giambalvo, GM for New Jersey, Level 3 Communications. “Our investment and expanded network provides area enterprises with local network infrastructure and support alongside global connectivity, creating a gateway for information exchange across the region and around the world.”
The additional fiber builds on Level 3’s existing network in New Jersey, strengthening route diversity for business continuity and increasing capacity for streamlining operations.
“Our goal is to help businesses grow while supporting the region’s tech, innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Paul Frank, executive vice president, New Jersey Technology Council. “This network expansion, and Level 3’s continued investment in New Jersey, demonstrates how important our community and the businesses that operate here are to the global community.”
