LSI, a division of Telesystem, has added Robert Velazquez as a regional channel manager in the South Florida market.
He joins LSI Telesystem after spending most of the last 16 years as a top producer at Windstream.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity that exists for us in Florida, and Robert’s creative and entrepreneurial mind made him the ideal candidate for our launch there,” said Telesystem vice president of channel sales, Bruce Wirt. “His long track record of success was merely icing on the cake. Robert’s addition will help to launch the LSI Telesystem brand in South Florida. He has strong relationships with many channel partners, most notably national master agent TCG, and is an active member of several technology committees and groups in the greater Miami area.”
Velazquez will be responsible for working with existing master agents to recruit new agents, and will serve as a local technical resource for partners in the central and south Florida markets.
