Salestream Software has enhanced its MasterStream Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software platform with a free application that integrates Salesforce CRM into the platform.
The new app, appropriately dubbed MasterStream for Salesforce, is aimed at telecom carriers, MSPs, agents and VARs who use both Salesforce and MasterStream, or those who use Salesforce today but need the complex quoting and process automation that MasterStream overlays.
MasterStream is tailored for procurement, quoting and process management related to complex telecommunications and cloud-based services. Among those specialized capabilities are the ability to quote carrier and cloud services across hundreds of locations and dozens of networks at once, integrated rules and margin control, proposal generation & tracking, order document automation, and comprehensive commission management.
“MasterStream for Salesforce enables Salesforce-based companies to have the best of both worlds.” said Steve Roberts, CEO of Salestream Software. “With our new app these companies can seamlessly leverage MasterStream’s acclaimed quote-to-order automation for their Salesforce users while extending log-in access to large numbers of agents or contractors through MasterStream for greater functionality and lower cost than extending Salesforce access directly.”
Using an integrated single sign-on process, MasterStream for Salesforce allows Salesforce users to access both Salesforce and MasterStream in a seamless fashion. Salesforce users can submit multi-location requests for quotes (RFQs) from a Salesforce Opportunity to receive quotes, send proposals and more from within a Salesforce session. Agents and VARs can self-service for their quoting requirements via MasterStream, while all activity is reportable through Salesforce.
“While MasterStream is a complete and customizable quote-to-order system that offers a robust but optional CRM of its own, we find many clients are committed to Salesforce. We’re embracing that market reality in the interest of better serving the growing overlap in our customer base.” said Roberts. “In combination, these two systems provide remarkable functionality able to support providers, agents, and VARs of any size.”
