Metalogix Names Public Sector Veep

Metalogix, which provides unified cloud software to migrate, manage and secure content across enterprise collaboration platforms, has announced the addition of Tod Tompkins to its sales leadership team in the role of vice president of public sector sales.
Tompkins brings more than 20 years of enterprise software experience to Metalogix, which continues to look to market growth in government, education and other public sector organizations. One of the prime enablers of new service models for digital government is the adoption of hybrid/cloud architectures to provide organizations with increased business efficiency, flexibility and cost savings, according to Gartner.

“Just like their private sector counterparts, public sector agencies and organizations are looking for more efficient ways to simplify the management of their collaboration content,” said Jim Gannon, senior vice president worldwide sales, Metalogix. “Tod brings a wealth of expertise in the public sector, the collaboration space, and is a valuable addition to a team that is delivering comprehensive solutions to optimize the migration, management and security of collaboration content, both in the cloud and on-premises.”

Tompkins has led federal account teams at Microsoft and was the federal organization lead for EMC’s software division. He has also held public sector leadership roles with Micro-Focus and Tableau. Most recently, Mr. Tompkins was the federal business development and operations leader with Planet Technologies, a strategic Metalogix Gold Partner.
