MicroCorp Adds Sales Engineer Focused on Complex Sales

Master agency and distributor MicroCorp has added Chris Donlan as sales engineer as a front-line channel partner resource for complex sales.

Joining MicroCorp at a time of SD-WAN acceleration and exponential growth in unified communications, Donlan will offer provider-neutral engineering support for SD-WAN, data center, cloud, SIP and blended MPLS network solutions for domestic and international bids.

Donlan will also take lead on MicroCorp’s Ultimate Partner Training, a series of provider-neutral workshops that give attendees a blueprint to  add new technologies to their own portfolio.

“As our channel partners engage enterprise clients with more sophisticated solution requirements, it’s critical to their success to provide consulting, design and advanced technical expertise to close those deals,” said MicroCorp President Phil Keenan. “Donlan possesses technical expertise along with years of practical sales experience that will enhance the overall sales effort.”

With more than 20 years in telecommunications and technology, Donlan most recently brings to MicroCorp deep engineering experience from Windstream, where he spent 12 years in sales engineering, and as senior technology advisor for Unified Technologies in southeast Florida.
