MinIO, which focuses on object storage for exabyte AI, launched its expanded MinIO partner program. This program is designed to meet customer need for object storage and AI adoption. In particular, it introduces new opportunities for partners as customers turn to MinIO AIStor as their object-native storage system for AI.
The program includes incentives, training courses, enablement materials, certifications and tiering for partners in the MinIO ecosystem. Areas of focus include the channel (system integrators, appliance partners and distributors), cloud, GSI, platform and technology partners.
MinIO also appointed a new partner leader, Mike Marinchak (VP, global partner sales), who formerly led channel and partner sales for NetApp and Pure Storage. Marinchak brings nearly 25 years of experience in the data storage and infrastructure industry. In this role, he will focus on extending MinIO AIStor’s capabilities and services through channel partners.

Profitability and predictable subscription model, by building recurring revenues with margins for the entirety of the customer engagement, across renewals, up-sell and cross-sell.

Enablement and certification, as MinIO offers deal support, enablement training and a paid certification program via the MinIO Academy.
As a part of the updated program, the MinIO Academy offers different levels of MinIO sales, technical and advanced technical training.
