Philadelphia-based NetCarrier Telecom has launched the nCloud Evergreen Plan, offering agents a minimum of 15 percent residual commission without monthly or quarterly revenue commitments.
Agents will also receive up front bonuses and spiffs.
The company said that it is targeting agents and VARs who are “frustrated with the need to share commissions with master agents in exchange for evergreen protection.”
“As we’ve moved into new markets over the last three years, one of the most valuable things we’ve done is to listen,” said NetCarrier nCloud vice president of sales Bruce Wirt. “Agents are tired of sharing or forfeiting their hard earned commissions and bonuses with master agents for the sole purpose of protection. We know that this is going to cause some unrest in the channel, but we feel that it’s the right thing to do.”
The news comes in tandem with the launch of its nCloud Survive offering, which unbundles its redundancy offering from standard voice and data services. It is a fully managed Internet failover service that includes wide area network (WAN) redundancy as well as advanced firewall features. NetCarrier will also offer 24/7/365 real time monitoring of up to three WAN connections, e-mail and phone notifications when customers experience an outage and optional trouble ticket reporting.
“More and more businesses are using cloud based services to keep connected to their clients,” said Wirt. “Cloud based technologies enables CFOs to take traditional capital expenditures (CAPEX) and turn them into operational expenditures (OPEX) that can be perpetually written off each year.”
nCloud Survive is available to businesses of all sizes in the continental United States.
