Nitel, a managed telecom service provider, has added Michael Gough as director of channel sales. In this newly created role of “channel chief,” Gough will focus on the overall strategic direction of Nitel’s channel program.
“We’re always looking for new partners who are passionate about delivering value to their clients through Nitel’s services,” said Nitel vice president of sales Kevin Weber. “We believe Michael is the right guy to convey this message to the channel.”
Gough brings more than 25 years of sales and leadership experience in the telecom industry to the role. Gough has previously lead teams at CBeyond, Paetec and Cavalier. He also served in the United States Coast Guard, and is an Operation Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom veteran.
“We’re looking to strengthen our relationships with top master agents, while ensuring that we have programs and support in place to help agents of all types succeed,” Gough said. “Nitel has built great partnerships in the channel because of our ability to facilitate the sales process.
