Nitel has named Margi Shaw chief operating officer. As COO, Margi will lead the expansion of Nitel’s customer solutions while focusing on reliable customer-centric service models.
Margi brings over 30 years of technology and leadership experience to Nitel, most recently serving as the president and CEO of First Communications. Margi also served as COO at CIMCO Communications, leading aggressive growth and tremendous transformation for nearly a decade. Following the strategic acquisition of CIMCO by Comcast, Margi led the team through the complex process of integration.
As Nitel continues to invest in leadership and talent, Mak Shomade is taking on the role of chief business officer. The new position will focus on building efficiency throughout the organization through process improvement, data integrity and revenue assurance. Mak will also lead the company’s effort to increase customer and partner value through continued development of Nitel’s systems and platforms.
