Nutanix has announced the appointment of former Big Blue UK&I partner chief, Andrew Gill, as its new channel director for western Europe and sub-Saharan Africa (WEURSSA). Gill will be responsible for leading all channel and OEM activities in the region with resellers, distributors, and regional SIs.
Nutanix WEURSSA VP sales, Dom Poloniecki, welcomed Gill saying the company wants to leverage his experience in running channel sales teams in the region.
“He is a welcome addition to the team and both his experience and passion as well as his extensive executive relationships in the partner community will help us to enable our industry-leading partner ecosystem to gain maximum benefit from the innovative product portfolio that we offer,” Poloniecki said.
Gill said that building channel awareness around initiatives such as Nutanix Cloud Bundles (NCB) will be one of his top priorities. NCB is a unified offering to access Nutanix enterprise cloud software and solutions in the U.S. vendor’s enterprise portfolio.
