One Source Networks (OSN), a provider of voice and managed services, announced the purchase of the assets and customer base of StarView Solutions (StarView), an Austin-based provider of cloud voice solutions. The acquisition enables OSN to further scale its traffic volume, supplier relationships and back office systems, says the company.
Through the transaction, OSN gains approximately 2 billion annual voice minutes, 14 million peered DIDs, relationships with more than 100 new suppliers, and advanced automated voice provisioning and DID management capabilities. The purchase expands the products available to StarView’s customers by adding data, managed services and advanced voice services to the previous portfolio.
“We are pleased with how our combined strengths benefit both OSN’s and StarView’s customers,” commented Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. “What is particularly exciting is how StarView’s business model of delivering services through a single supplier mirrors our own philosophy. The StarView customer base is now able to choose from a significantly broader product set while maintaining the simplicity of one contract and one invoice.”
OSN is also gaining key staff, including Chris Griffin, who has been named executive vice president of Wholesale Sales. Formerly president and co-founder of StarView, Griffin has more than 20 years of telecommunications sales experience, including senior roles at Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) and MCI (now Verizon).
“I am thrilled to be joining the OSN team,” said Griffin. “The synergy of our two companies allows customers to take advantage of an even broader range of capabilities and services, including advanced voice services such as HD Voice, cloud call and contact center services, and cloud-based PBX services.”
