Opengear Names SVP and GM

Opengear, a Digi International company that provides secure, smart out-of-band management solutions, appointed Patrick Quirk as SVP and GM. Quirk will oversee global operations, driving strategic growth initiatives and enhancing Opengear’s position for data centers and network management.

Quirk brings experience in operations management, strategic partnerships and technology leadership. He joins Opengear from Nautilus Data Technologies, where he served as CTO. Previous experience includes executive roles with Vertiv, where he was president of Avocent and VP and GM of the IT systems business, as well as senior positions with Emerson Network Power, LSI and Motorola.
