P2 telecom has partnered with NextStep Technology Solutions, which is a master distributor for Samsung’s VoIP and unified communications (UC) product and software solutions for carrier-grade applications.
The two companies will provide carriers with the full range of Samsung products, including routers, switches and endpoints.
There have also been some executive-level partnerships. Bill Patchett, CEO of P2 telecom, has also been appointed President of NextStep, with primary responsibility for marketing Samsung’s network product solutions into the carrier market. And, Sean O’Connor, P2’s COO, has been appointed to that position for NextStep, where he will be primarily responsible for the technical interfaces.
“Samsung product offerings and support will allow us to introduce their superior equipment to the benefit of the carrier market,” said Patchett. “In addition to P2 utilizing the technology in our own switching centers, the use of the Samsung solutions will be a compelling option for P2’s network partners.”
