Pax8 Adds Workspace as a Service to Portfolio

Pax8 has partnered with CloudJumper, a workspace as a service (WaaS) platform. Through the agreement, Pax8 will offer CloudJumper’s nWorkSpace for the delivery of cloud desktops, applications and IT workspaces via its channel partners.

“Businesses around the world have recognized the need to become more agile in response to changing partner and customer dynamics, and the cloud is a significant means to that end,” said John Street, CEO at Pax8. “The ability to access the computing resources you need when you need them is a cornerstone of our WaaS platform partner, CloudJumper, which has allowed us to capitalize on this growing IT category without delay. The superior nWorkSpace platform is expected to deliver well for solution providers, which we attribute to its simplicity and impressive performance.”

Key features of nWorkSpace include desktop virtualization, 60 GB of personal and shared storage, 2,000+ hosted applications, Microsoft Office 365 support and seven daily backup configurations.

“With tight integration of software, infrastructure and services, nWorkSpace is a fully packaged solution that allows Pax8 partners to stand up a WaaS offering quickly and easily,” said JD Helms, president, CloudJumper. “This partnership supports Pax8 and its channel in the delivery of high value services as an increasing number of businesses transition to cloud-based IT.”

CloudJumper nWorkSpace is cloud and hypervisor-agnostic, which allows users to deploy across multiple cloud infrastructures from one or more vendors, including the ProfitBricks platform. Pax8 offers ProfitBricks to its channel of solution providers so they can run their business entirely in the cloud.
