Qualys – which focuses on disruptive cloud IT, security and compliance solutions – introduced its Managed Risk Operations Center (mROC) partner alliance.
mROC will allow select partners to offer advisory, onboarding, integration and remediation through a unified managed service, thus helping their clients identify, quantify, assess and mitigate cyber-risk. Qualified MSSP partners gain the opportunity to grow their service offerings, among Qualys’ installed base of enterprise customers.
The program comes in response to what Qualys calls “overwhelming” volume of risk findings dispersed across siloed tools. It effectively transforms cyber-risk management with the Risk Operations Center, powered by Enterprise TruRisk management (ETM). This consolidates risk insight in a unified view that can quantify and communicate cyber-risk in terms of business value risk, then automate risk reduction to enhance security.
Through mROC, MSSP partners translate cyber risk into the language of business. These services, which are powered by Qualys ETM, can foster a quantitative, holistic and strategic approach to cyber-risk management. Partners will benefit from:
Enhanced Service Offerings – The mROC Partner Alliance empowers partners to drive growth by elevating services and focusing on a more strategic, value-added approach. New service offerings include:
- Cyber-risk advisory services to assess state of vulnerability management program and develop a strategic roadmap for ROC implementation.
- Onboarding and integration services that establish a centralized platform to consolidate risk telemetry from disparate tools, delivering unified asset inventory, continuous vulnerability management, automated workflows and executive reporting.
- Continuous risk-monitoring services to deliver actionable insight for executive reporting, risk signal monitoring, workflow automation, risk-trend tracking and industry benchmarking.
- Risk remediation services to design and automate risk-reduction programs, including patching and applying compensating controls, by integrating ETM with existing remediation solutions.
- No-cost training and enablement, including in-depth product resources, personalized roadmap discussions, technical guidance and one-on-one risk workshops.
“Establishing a risk operations center as a centralized, proactive cybersecurity management platform is a key strategy for CISOs aiming to systematically reduce risk while enhancing operational efficiency and business resilience,” said Qualys CEO, Sumedh Thakar. “With mROC, CISOs have access to an ecosystem of partners who operationalize the ROC and serve as strategic risk advisors. For MSSPs, mROC unlocks a valuable revenue opportunity, empowering them to deliver comprehensive cyber-risk management – including risk aggregation, quantification, monitoring and remediation – powered by Qualys Enterprise TruRisk Management.”
