Secureworks Adds 50 Threat-Intelligence Feeds to Taegis VDR

Secureworks announced the integration of new threat-intelligence feeds within its Taegis Vulnerability Detection and Response (VDR) software. These elements – which come via the company’s Counter Threat Unit (CTU) – are designed to better identify and eliminate “high-risk” exposure and, according to the company, “reduce remediation efforts by 15x.”

Designed for security administrator use, Taegis VDR employs asset discovery, identification, vulnerability scanning and ML-based prioritization, across 50 factors, to assess threat level. These determinants – which span organizations, assets and networks – are analyzed by the software’s artificial intelligence engine to prioritize vulnerabilities, integrate information and perform “virtual expert” analysis.

Each year, Secureworks’ CTU scans more than 1,400 (incident response) and 2,500 (adversarial testing) engagements, and monitors 246 threat groups, worldwide.
