Secureworks Incorporates Taegis XDR Cloud Storage Instances for EU

Cybersecurity company Secureworks introduced the Taegis XDR (Extended Detection and Response) cloud-data storage instance in Frankfurt, Germany. This deployment for European Union customers and channel partners offers elements for storing telemetry data within the EU. This investment is expected to specifically reinforce Secureworks’ ongoing commitment to EU customers and partners, while also helping the company to accelerate growth and meet rising regional demand.

Taegis XDR provides cloud-native SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) options that blend Secureworks’ security operations, threat intelligence and AI (artificial intelligence)-driven analytics capabilities in order to detect, investigate and respond to security incidents with speed and accuracy.

The software complies with local data-protection laws, including the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation that addresses the transfer of personal employee and customer data outside of the Union and its European Economic Area. The new cloud instance is expected to provide a local telemetry data storage option while also improving flexibility toward meeting EU standards. The addition – which is one of more than 50 updates in the past six months – is based on user requests.

Secureworks supports EU customers from locations in London, Paris, Edinburgh, Bucharest, Amsterdam and Dubai.
