NEW YORK — Sidera Networks, a provider of fiber-optic-based network solutions announced ultra-low latency connectivity between DuPont Fabros Technology’s NJ1 data center located in Piscataway, N.J., and 2905 Diehl Road in Aurora, Ill., via Sidera’s Xtreme Ultra-Low Latency Network.
Sidera’s network provides strategic advantages to financial services firms and other high bandwidth customers who value both diversity and low latency while guaranteeing optimal business performance.
Sidera is already connected to DFT’s recently delivered ACC6 data center located in Ashburn, Va., which provides a termination point for Sidera’s Transcom Route, a diverse route from the I-95 corridor with an option to bypass downtown Washington, D.C.
DFT’s tenants can access these fiber paths and high-speed connectivity between Aurora, Piscataway and Ashburn for financial services applications, back-up and recovery, cloud services and more utilizing Sidera’s network.
“We are excited about the opportunity to provide fast connectivity solutions to DuPont Fabros Technology’s customers,” said Clint Heiden, President of Sidera Networks. “Our network is 100G ready and, in most cases, we can turn up customers in less than two weeks from any of DuPont’s connected data center facilities.”
Sidera delivers high-speed connectivity through its Xtreme Ultra-Low Latency network solutions between major financial hubs throughout the New York metro market, Chicago and Aurora, IL, Toronto, Canada and London, UK.
