SilverSky Expands Security Engineering and Product Leadership with Strategic Appointments

SilverSky, a trusted cybersecurity partner with decades of experience securing regulated organizations, today announced the appointment of Austin Philips as director of security engineering and Luis Medici as director of product.

These additions strengthen SilverSky’s ability to advance its security operations capabilities and continue delivering disciplined, outcome-driven cybersecurity programs for its customers.

Austin Philips joins SilverSky with experience spanning both managed service providers and end-customer environments. In his new role, he will focus on advancing detection capabilities, strengthening security orchestration and automation, and supporting the continued evolution of SilverSky’s security operations platform.

Philips emphasized his focus on advancing modern detection strategies in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Luis Medici joins as director of product, where he will lead product strategy and execution. His focus will include aligning innovation with customer requirements, improving platform integration, and ensuring that SilverSky’s services continue to deliver operational clarity and measurable security outcomes.

These appointments reflect SilverSky’s continued investment in operational maturity and its commitment to helping customers translate compliance requirements into effective, continuously operated security programs.
