Hosted PBX and unified communications service provider SimpleSignal has adopted RapidScale’s white-label as-a-service platform to roll out a variety of cloud services, like business apps as a service, desktop as a service, hosted Exchange, disaster recovery as a service and infrastructure as a service.
The companies have dubbed the partnership SimpleSignal Cloud Services Powered by RapidScale. “This partnership allows us to leverage RapidScale’s expertise and infrastructure while ensuring that we remain focused on communications as a service,” said Michael Sterl, executive vice president of SimpleSignal. “Their extensive portfolio in cloud services coupled with our hosted PBX capabilities allow for a ‘true’ unified communications offering that customers are demanding today.”
The goal of the partnership is to complement both companies’ strengths and provide a better level of service to the end user, according to Mark Szotkowski, president of RapidScale, who added that he views the partnership as a “very powerful market solution for the channel and for the end user experience. It’s the true convergence of business apps on any device, anywhere.”
