Score one for more choice for VARs in their business communications portfolio: IP phone developer snom technology has made its 7xx series of desktop IP phones interoperable with Epygi Technologies’ line of Quadro IP PBX products.
Combining the snom 710, 720 and 760 endpoints with Epygi Quadro IP PBXs gives small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) an end-to-end voice solution, with auto provisioning through the Epygi Quadro IP PBXs for quick installation.
“Epygi’s interoperability with the snom 7xx series reinforces Epygi and snom’s long-standing interoperability partnership,” said Epygi CEO Mario Cuello. “The pairing of our IP PBX systems with snom’s new series of business phones provides resellers and end customers alike with an affordable and feature-rich telephony solution.”
The snom 7xx series VoIP telephones utilize snom’s eighth generation SIP firmware, which allows interoperability with a wide variety of SIP-based IP PBXs and softswitches.
The snom 7xx series joins the following snom models currently certified with the Epygi Quadro IP PBX portfolio: the snom 300, snom 320, snom 370, snom 821 and snom 870 desktop phones; the snom M9 cordless DECT handset; the snom Meeting Point conference phone; and the snom PA1 public announcement system.
“The snom 7xx series meets the needs of businesses looking for reliable, high functioning, stylish VoIP phones,” said Dr. Michael Knieling, snom COO. “Our ongoing commitment to interoperability with Epygi blends snom’s ‘best-of-breed’ SIP endpoints with Epygi’s award-winning IP PBX family, creating a value driven, telephony solution for businesses and resellers.”
