Spectrotel Rolls Out Managed SD-WAN

Spectrotel has partnered with VeloCloud to launch a managed software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) service to expand Spectrotel’s managed services offering.

Technology requirements of the enterprise marketplace have expanded many times over in a very short time. These organizations, particularly those with locations all over the United States, are faced with many challenges such as:

  • Network disruption
  • Poor performance
  • Inadequate network management and visibility
  • Slow and costly scalability

Spectrotel SD-WAN is designed to overcome these challenges by providing high network resiliency, quality network and application performance, holistic network visibility, and quick and easy network expansion, all at a better price performance than traditional WAN service.

“Spectrotel SD-WAN offers a transformational approach to business networks with the ease of incremental network changes. It allows companies to build higher performance WANs using lower cost Internet access, enabling businesses to partially or wholly replace more expensive private WAN circuits, such as MPLS,” said Ross Artale, president & COO of Spectrotel.  “Our partnership with VeloCloud provides a perfect alignment of technology, capability, customer focus and performance.”

“As a fully integrated solution provider with a mission to deliver affordable high quality solutions to SMB and enterprise customers nationwide, Spectrotel continuously demonstrates the ability to deliver and coordinate exceptional communications services,” said Sanjay Uppal, CEO and co-founder for VeloCloud. “Spectrotel reaffirmed its forward looking, innovative and visionary position in the market with the launch of their VeloCloud powered SD-WAN offer which is extending reliability, performance, security, quality of experience, and simplicity for on-premises and cloud applications and services agnostically over private, public, wired and wireless links.”

As one of the nation’s fastest growing aggregators, Spectrotel marries and manages multiple technologies and providers resulting in optimized solutions, enhanced performance and accountability under one roof.

“SD-WAN aligns perfectly with our core value of providing solutions that are carrier-, platform- and equipment-agnostic,” said Artale. “This results in a customized network solution for an enterprise because we can manage, monitor, secure, and now with our new SD-WAN service, optimize the use and quality of that network down the application layer.”
