In August, C3 Complete took a big leap forward by acquiring communications service provider TRACI.net – a move that significantly expands C3’s channel presence, service portfolio and support team and strengthens its overall operations. The two companies are now fully integrated, with TRACI.net’s employees, partners and customers operating in C3 Complete’s growing ecosystem.
TRACI.net, which stands for “transmit, receive and communicate information,” launched in 1987 in Deerfield Beach, Florida as Mainframe Voice Messaging Service before transitioning into a local ISP in 1997. In recent years, the company evolved to offer a variety of services including voice and messaging, data and connectivity and communications consulting to hundreds of SMBs.
Throughout its journey, TRACI.net remained laser-focused on equipping customers with the right technologies and services. In fact, according to C3 Complete director of business development and former TRACI.net president Darin Gull, it was the company’s decision to broaden its portfolio which initially led them to join forces with C3 Complete.
TRACI.net customers can now access a full suite of high-quality services including information security, cloud solutions, managed IT support, global connectivity and expert network engineering all from a single source.
“After speaking with [C3 Complete CEO] Rick Mancinelli, it was quickly apparent that both companies shared similar visions, with a strong customer focus and a commitment to culture and innovation,” explained Gull. “Linking up with a larger company like C3 Complete is the perfect way to take TRACI.net to the next level. C3 Complete offers many different services that we were simply unable to provide on our own, and they do them all very well. We are thrilled to be working together as one unified team.”
The partnership is mutually beneficial. C3 Complete is now able to serve a much wider range of customers with enhanced SD-WAN and voice offerings. And as Gull pointed out, TRACI.net fills a gap in C3’s portfolio by enabling them to serve smaller organizations.
“TRACI.net offers some products that are geared for the sub-25 user, while C3 Complete primarily focuses on larger accounts north of 50,” Gull explained. “We bring an incubator level of products and services to the table. This means C3 Complete can now take smaller customers and provide them with the critical technologies and services that they need to grow. We use a unique gap method to identify where a customer currently is in their technology journey, and where they need to be.”
Gull and his team are presently seeking partners that don’t have a full suite of products for their customers and want to supplement their portfolios.
“Our target partners may dabble in some managed services, or they may have some cloud offerings, but they can’t do everything,” Gull said. “We can provide a full range of services, ranging from Microsoft or VMware licensing to supplementing their security products. We have everything from SD-WAN solutions starting at $59 per month up to being able to handle a fortune 500 company’s needs.”
Looking ahead, C3 will focus on expanding its national presence and reaching more partners across the U.S.
“Just as our name suggests, our goal is to go out and complete – not compete against – a partner’s portfolio,” Gull said. “We empower partners to do what they do well and help monetize their weaknesses. We are excited to get out there, meet with channel partners, and identify areas where we can supplement their portfolios.”
