StorageCraft Technology Corp. is turning to the VAR channel with a new distribution program geared to expand the base for its business continuity-focused cloud services portfolio.
Through a deal with distributors Lifeboat and SYNNEX distribution, VARs and their small- and medium-sized business (SMB) customers have access to the StorageCraft Cloud Services for offsite backup of servers for system and data disaster recovery, with options that range from instant virtualization to simple archiving.
“Value-added resellers now have access to a complete end-to-end business continuity solution for their customers with StorageCraft Cloud Services,” said Curt James, vice president of marketing and business development at StorageCraft. “StorageCraft Cloud Services is a tool that allows small and medium businesses to recover their systems and data quickly in the event of a disaster or unexpected loss by storing flexible point-in-time backups in a safe and secure offsite location.”
StorageCraft Cloud Services are available through VARs on a prepaid basis and is offered in tiered options, allowing for further customization. The tiered options are: Cloud Basic, which rchives critical business backup images; Cloud+, which includes everything in Cloud Basic, plus immediate file and folder recovery; and Cloud Premium, which includes everything in Cloud+, as well as instant virtualization of data and failover in the cloud.
In addition, U.S. users may opt to have their data mirrored to a second data center for an additional layer of protection.
StorageCraft Cloud Services is available in the United States and Canada, and the product is expected to be available to international customers later this year.
Prior to its channel expansion to VARs, StorageCraft Cloud Services was only available to managed service providers (MSPs) through the StorageCraft MSP Program.
