Tango Partners with Vola Networks

Tango Networks and Vola Networks have announced a strategic partnership to bring native cellular voice, compliant enterprise messaging and modern POTS replacement to service providers and enterprise partners across North America.

The collaboration pairs Vola’s hardware gateways with Tango’s cellular connectivity and VoLTE capabilities, establishing a highly reliable cellular voice path for existing analog devices.

By combining specialized POTS replacement hardware with cellular voice connectivity, service providers and MSPs can:

  • Migrate critical equipment: Connect existing analog alarms, call boxes, and emergency lines over cellular networks without replacing the underlying hardware.
  • Eliminate copper dependency: Provide a seamless transition off retiring PSTN copper infrastructure.
  • Scale across locations: Deploy standardized, multi-site POTS replacement solutions efficiently across enterprise portfolios.

In addition to physical line modernization, the underlying mobile engine allows partners to capture mobile communications revenue and extend corporate UC platforms directly to smartphone endpoints.

“The retirement of copper lines creates an urgent need for practical POTS replacement, while modern enterprises demand mobile-first workforce connectivity,” said Lee Essex, SVP of sales and marketing at Tango Networks. “By combining Tango Networks’ cellular VoLTE engine with Vola Networks’ purpose-built gateways, service providers can enable immediate line migration and unlock high-margin revenue through extended mobile communications.”
