TBI Strengthens Partner Resources with Addition of New VP

TBI, a technology distributor, announces the addition of Vice President of Partner and Supplier Experience, Samantha Zuniga-Juarez, to support its growing supplier and partner base.

Zuniga-Juarez joins TBI after spending more than 19 years in the Channel – 18 of which were at competing technology distributor, Intelisys.

While at Intelisys, Zuniga-Juarez spent most of her time growing her career in the partner and supplier management realms, holding a variety of roles including Sr. Manager of Partner Support & Order Management, Director of Support Services and Sr. Director of Support Services. Within these roles, some of her responsibilities included building, strengthening and maintaining their supplier services program, running the support operations for pre and post-sales, and also leading their internal operations team of 60+ people.

In 2021, Zuniga-Juarez left Intelisys for a new opportunity at TBI supplier, Fusion Connect, as its Vice President of Channel Operations & Programs. In this role, she was responsible for streamlining the organization’s back-office processes, supporting their sales teams by implementing new operational efficiencies for a smoother partner experience and developing new programs/incentives for their internal Channel teams to increase companywide activity and revenue.

As TBI’s VP of Partner and Supplier Experience, Zuniga-Juarez is responsible for supporting TBI’s partner and supplier programs, ensuring individuals connecting with the organization are receiving the best experience possible.

In other TBI news, the company announced the promotion of Joe Fizor from Solutions Engineer Manager to Director of Solutions Engineering. In this new role, Fizor will lead TBI’s team of solution architects and subject matter experts, further supporting the Channel partner community.

Fizor started at TBI in 2016, working as a Solution Engineer, Lead Solution Engineer and Solution Engineer Manager. As TBI’s Solution Engineer Manager, Fizor focused on providing agnostic technical support to TBI’s partner base, in addition to guiding the internal engineering and sales teams on emerging technology solutions.

Throughout his time at TBI, Fizor has stood out as a high achiever and a leader, attaining President’s Club status in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021, in addition to winning Employee of the Year in 2020.

Prior to joining TBI, Fizor spent many years working in the VAR space, focusing heavily on providing customer sales support for Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, HPE and Aruba for Enterprise Network Infrastructure.
