Interconnect business optimization specialist Telarix has been awarded a patent relating to iXLink, which enables carriers, resellers and emerging market providers to automate their wholesale interconnect purchase processes.
The patent, U.S. Patent No. 8,359,400, covers features that enable carriers to fully automate certain business to business processes by defining a series of business rules used to pre-screen and validate price lists, contracts and invoices.
iXLink has 3,000 members exchanging more than 40,000 documents monthly in a secure and collaborative business environment. Its product set includes Price List Receipt, Price List Distribution, Bill Receipt and Bill Distribution, and recently announced a new offering of Contract Receipt and Contract Distribution.
Telarix has counterpart applications relating to iXLink pending before the European and German Patent Offices. The iXLink patent adds to Telarix’s existing U.S. and European patent portfolio for features of its iXTools software.
