Telarus Releases 2024-25 Tech Trends Report

Telarus, a global TSD, released its second annual Telarus Tech Trends report. This document provides exclusive insight, specifically tailored to tech advisors and consultants in the channel. This year’s report revealed new trends and shifts in technology adoption among large and mid-sized enterprise companies in the U.S.. Emphasis was placed on AI-enabled solutions, cybersecurity enhancements and cloud modernization strategies.

Key insights included:

  • 53 percent of IT decision-makers identifying AI adoption as a top priority, up from just 13 percent last year. Many companies, it was noted, are moving beyond experimentation to full-scale AI implementation.
  • Cybersecurity was the #2 driver for IT investment, as cybercrime incidents continued to rise in number and severity for nearly every business, and data became exposed to more vulnerabilities with AI.
  • One in three respondents cited cost management as a primary challenge, with economic climate and board pressure to implement AI initiatives serving as key indicators for this shift.
  • Nearly half of IT buyers indicated cloud modernization/hybrid strategies as a priority for addressing future scalability, security and cost management.

“As technology continues to evolve at a breakneck pace, we are seeing a shift in how businesses leverage advanced solutions to tackle critical challenges,” said Telarus CEO, Adam Edwards. “With this new set of exclusive data now available to the technology advisor community, we aim to equip them with the crucial insights needed to guide their clients and grow their own business in new technology areas.”

The report highlighted a growing demand for technology advisory services, as companies seek expert guidance to navigate new tech and compliance requirements. Approximately 92 percent of mid-market IT decision-makers expressed interest in engaging with new tech advisors, representing opportunity in the channel.
