TelcoBridges announced today the company has reached a major milestone for its FreeSBC offering. Three million sessions have been downloaded by accounts in 59 different countries.
The FreeSBC session border controller helps protect networks from DoS and DDoS attacks while enabling advanced session handling performance. The technology is available for free download on VMware, OpenStack and bare metal servers, and is widely interoperable with major platforms and carrier networks.
FreeSBC is highly scalable and reliable, supporting up to 60,000 sessions on a single server as well as full B2BUA, SIP header manipulation, routing and transcoding. It’s also based on a platform supporting 1+1 High Availability. Sessions can be licensed at no cost or with support and premium features.
FreeSBC is just one component of the company’s large portfolio of carrier-grade solutions. An array of optional paid services and extensions are available, including TelcoBridges’ industry’s leading VoIP gateways, transcoding gateways and signaling gateways.
Based in Montreal with offices in Poland, Turkey and Hong Kong, TelcoBridges has deployed VoIP solutions in more than 100 countries worldwide.
TelcoBridges will be attending the upcoming ITW event, May 6-9 in Chicago.
