Amanda England has joined hosted VoIP and unified communications specialist Telesphere, as a senior channel executive.
Based in Dallas, she joins Telesphere with a 13-year history in sales operations, contract negotiation, sales management and team leadership. In this newly created position, England has accountability for developing and building agent relationships and new customer relationships within Texas and the surrounding area.
Prior to joining Telesphere, England was a national account manager and general sales manager with UNSI and Airband. Prior to telecom, she served as a sales manager and branch manager within the construction industry, managing key clients, establishing new customer relationships, leading contract negotiations and overseeing projects.
“Amanda is a conscientious, creative and tenacious salesperson, known for building new business and forging strong relations with business partners,” said Derek Sandhoff, Telesphere general manager for the Northern Region. “She has a stellar track record in sales management, and we are very excited to have her leading channel sales within our new Dallas office.”
Outside of work, England is an active volunteer with Frisco Family Services, which helps families and individuals overcome critical situations, including homelessness and hunger, giving them the skills and assistance they need to become more self sufficient, leading more productive lives. Additionally, she’s involved with animal welfare through the no-kill nonprofit organization Operation Kindness. It raises funds for homeless dogs and cats through adoptions, sales of pet-related products, events and donations.
