Telesystem Gives Back at Nationwide Cybersecurity Summits

Cybersecurity Summits focused on cybersecurity education in three U.S. cities/  As part of the initiative, Telesystem commits to support the target cities by giving back to charities in each area.

The first in the series will be held April 12-13 in Phoenix, followed by events in Philadelphia and Charlotte, N.C., later in the year.

As part of the summits, Telesystem is working with the Tech4Change grassroots giving-as-a-service organization to identify and assist in the support of a charity in each community. Telesystem will donate a matching amount for every dollar raised for the selected charity, with a goal of raising more than $10,000. Telesystem takes pride in supporting local organizations that are delivering goods and services to those in need in the communities that they serve.

Telesystem’s Cybersecurity Summits will provide education surrounding what to be aware of, and how businesses should be protecting themselves in an ever-evolving cybercrime landscape. In the two-day summits, Telesystem will bring in key thought leaders and subject matter experts to help educate technology sales partners, as well as the CIOs, CISOs, and CEOs of local businesses on how to stay vigilant in the world of cybercrime.

The first day of each summit will be targeted to agents and technology partners on how to position cybersecurity to businesses, with the second day targeted toward business executives, educating them on how to plan for, prevent, manage, and recover from cyber-attacks.

“We look to embody our slogan every day, and in every way,” said Telesystem Chief Revenue Officer Bruce Wirt. “IT is About Trust. Business owners and executives nationwide place their trust in Telesystem to keep them connected and protected. These educational sessions are focused on helping businesses strengthen their cybersecurity position and strategy. We also have an organizational commitment to give back to the communities that support us. Being a strong supporter of local charities is incredibly important to us.”
