Three High-speed Internet Improvements Announced

CHR Solutions announced that Beacon Broadband has selected Omnia360 as its business software solution. Beacon Broadband is a subsidiary of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative (CCEC) in Southern Oregon and is building a fiber-to-the-premises network to bring the high-speed fiber experience.

CHR’s Omnia360 platform has combined capabilities that bring sales, marketing and service delivery automation together and provides an enhanced end-customer experience.

Tilson Speeds Up Internet in Rural Vermont

Tilson Broadband, a national network development and information infrastructure professional services firm, is deploying fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) network to bring Tilson Broadband’s fiber optic internet service to the towns of Danville, Lunenburg, and St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

Consolidated Communications to Build FTTP Network in Maine

Consolidated Communications, has been tapped to construct a high-speed FTTP internet network in the town of Eastbrook, Maine. The network will connect nearly 500 municipal locations, residences and businesses. The town is one of the first communities in Maine to build an FTTP network.

The network will deliver faster, highly reliable broadband connectivity, including symmetrical Gig speeds, which is a significant increase from the Internet speeds available. The fiber network will also provide reliable connections supporting remote access and video conferencing for remote workers and learners; allow the creation and uploading of high-bandwidth content; and enable easy use of smart-home devices, creating numerous, lasting economic development, e-commerce and quality-of-life benefits and opportunities.
