Tintri, which offers smart storage for virtualization and cloud environments, has appointed John Schwan as vice president of North America channel sales.
Tintri has made recent channel training and certification program enhancements, with the goal, it says, of including approaching 100 percent indirect sales, It has also launched a global partner program and a reseller sales and sales-enablement certification program.

Schwan has held multiple roles at VMware, most recently as a channel liaison for field engagement and sales between VMware and solution providers across North America.
