TNCI Operating Company has named Victor Flores as its vice president of network operations.
Flores will be responsible for the overall operations and planning of the TNCI network. He will also oversee the TNCI IT Department, as most of IT infrastructure, scope and responsibilities are closely intertwined with network operations.
Flores has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and operating telephone networks for both ILECs and CLECs. He began his career in the United States Air Force, going on to spend 27 years at Pacific Bell/SBC Communications under multiple roles. In 1998, he accepted the director of engineering position at First World Communications, where his principal responsibility was to design network and central office circuit and fiber facilities.
A year later, Flores accepted the engineering and network operations role with Telscape Communications/Sage Telecomm. He spent 15 years there and was eventually was named vice president of network operations, where he was responsible for managing network operations, network engineering, field technicians, service order provisioning and the repair department.
