Transbeam‘s Ethernet over copper (EoC) service has been selected as a 2014 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award winner.
Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Awards, sponsored by ChannelVision Expo partner TMC, honor the development of technologies geared toward the evolution of a 4G, all-IP wireless networks, including products, services, architecture and infrastructure, delivery and applications.

Transbeam’s Ethernet over Copper solution provides high-speed network access from 3Mbps to 45Mbps utilizing traditional copper wiring infrastructure. Ite offers Quality of Service (QoS) prioritization over a MPLS data network and an SLA guarantee. EoC can be used for DIA, MPLS, private lines and voice services, including PRI, hosted PBX and VoIP. Transbeam said that the service installation period is less than 2 weeks in some regions.
With EoC having reasonable price points and increasing availability nationwide, EoC is becoming more popular as a means to deliver dedicated bandwidth to businesses. It can be paired with Transbeam’s backup LTE service for full business redundancy.
