Transbeam has annouced that it is the exclusive provider of high speed Internet connectivity on the culinary campus for one of the country’s most recognized wine and food festivals.
The eighth annual Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE being held from Oct. 15-18. To date it has raised more than $8.5 million to date for the hunger-relief organizations Food Bank For New York City and No Kid Hungry. Last year’s event attracted 55,000 people.
Transbeam was selected for the third consecutive year to provide both wired and wireless business-class Internet connectivity, proactive network monitoring and management and onsite technical support at the Festival’s culinary campus located at Piers 92 & 94. The festival depends on Internet service for various communications channels throughout the four-day event. Transbeam’s broadband connectivity supports the underlying communications network for the staff of the event, exhibitors consisting of over one hundred companies, nationally branded media sponsors and VIP attendees including culinary giants, celebrity chefs and corporate sponsors.
