TreeHouse Interactive is gearing up to announce two new packages for AppExchange that enable partner relationship management (PRM) tools and Salesforce to work together, to the benefit of channel partners.
The packages allow Salesforce users to work within the Salesforce environment, while partners interact through their partner portal. Information is seamlessly exchanged in real time between the two, while both partners and Salesforce users can each work with the tool they are familiar with.
“Suppliers who reach out to partners in a way that helps them more effectively execute programs and increase mutual sales, ultimately help to increase partner loyalty,” the company said. “By supporting activities like partner collateral cobranding and matching up the right partners with the right prospects, suppliers can play an instrumental role in facilitating their partners’ go-to-market needs.”
TreeHouse’s Reseller View, which it says is the only PRM solution on AppExchange, offers automated deal registration, lead distribution, MDF/co-op, content management and contract management, aimed at integrating partner networks with the Salesforce CRM ecosystem.
“TreeHouse has everything a channel program needs under one roof,” said Jim Schwartz, senior director of channel operations for Sungard AS. “With the ability to create co-branded documents, process partner leads, seamlessly integrate with Salesforce, and provide sales tools to our partners, we get everything we need from one vendor–all while controlling costs and achieving scalability.”
Dave Bader, account manager with Sungard partner Continental Resources, added that the Sungard partner portal, hosted by TreeHouse, is “simple to use and easy to register deals, especially compared with other technology vendor portals. When we can effortlessly interact with a vendor’s portal, it just makes the job of selling their services that much more effective.”
