Unicon, the provider of the eLux Linux-based operating system, established an IT partnership with Lenovo and Bytec. This close collaboration is expected to pave the way for creating first-rate hardware and software bundles that offer system vendors, service providers and enterprises benefits for digital workplaces.
eLux is now available as pre-installed software on Lenovo laptops and thin clients, which can be purchased from Bytec. This new type of integration allows customers and resellers to immediately use the devices without having to first manually install the software.
Bytec will handles pre-installation and configuration of the eLux operating system on the Lenovo devices.
This cooperation is expected to set new standards for security and updates, as the compatibility between hardware and software is continuously and comprehensively checked and certified. The partnership allows customers to rely on a single point of contact, Bytec, to provide both hardware and software support. Customers receive tailored solutions for any challenges or individual requirements that may arise in their VDI or DaaS environment.
