United Network Services Inc. (UNSi) has successfully completed its previously announced acquisition of Dallas-based Airband Communications.
The all stock merger officially closed on May 14.
Airband, a fixed wireless voice and data provider for businesses, with a large southwest and southeast MPLS backbone, will expand UNSI’s footprint depth. The acquisition expands UNSi’s existing national MPLS and Ethernet network, with a total of 29 Core PoPs spanning across the United States, fixed wireless in 16 markets, a nationwide VoIP platform and a broadband aggregation network.
The combined company will operate under the name United Network Services Inc. (UNSi) with primary operations located in Dallas, Phoenix and Pittsburgh, coupled with regional offices around the nation.
